About Heard, specifically.

How do messages reach me?

Every inquiry is forwarded to your email inbox. You’ll see the prospect’s name, email, phone (if they provided one), and their message. Hit reply — your response goes directly to the prospect’s email. They never see ours.

Can I route inquiries to a different email?

Yes. By default, inquiries go to the email address on your profile. You can set a separate routing email in your Heard settings if you want to keep work and inquiries in different inboxes.

Can I customize the form fields?

Not at launch. Every Heard page asks for name, email, phone (optional), and message. We chose those four because they’re what most solopreneurs actually need — and a short form gets more submissions than a long one. Custom fields are on the roadmap.

What about spam?

Multiple layers of automated filtering catch spam and bots before they reach your inbox. The protection is invisible to real visitors — they fill out the form, hit send, and you get the message. Bots and scrapers get blocked silently.

Can I see past inquiries in one place?

Yes. Your customer portal includes a Heard inbox showing your recent inquiries, filterable by All or Unread. The latest 25 are displayed there. Older messages are stored but not currently shown in the portal — that’s on the roadmap.

Will my prospects’ data be safe?

Yes. Submitted info goes to you and is stored securely on our servers. We never share or sell prospect data. Each inquiry shows the prospect a line confirming this: “Your info goes straight to [your name]. Not shared, not sold.”
